If your son or daughter is going away to college this fall, then you probably are already planning on what you need to send with them. You have the college dorm checklist bring important things that are going to fit into the college sized dorm room. Here are some of the basics to keep in mind when it comes time to move your teen off to college. The first things you need to consider for your college kid is the size of their dorm room and what things their school does allow and doesn’t allow in their rooms.
Some schools will allow hot plates, microwaves, and toaster ovens, while others won’t allow these items in the rooms. The first place to begin is by starting with things that your son or daughter already has. Often times, they will have favorite bedding, carpets, decorations, and other little things that they really enjoy at home. Starting out with familiar sheets will give your college kid a sense of home comfort that new sheets will not. Save the new sheets for when your college kid gets adjusted. Once you have established what you have for your college kid’s room, it is time to start looking at things that you need to purchase.
A microwave, mini-fridge, and a laptop are all great things to make sure your college kids has. Inside of their room you should add bedding, carpets, drapes, and posters that they really enjoy. One often forgot item that is really important as well is to make sure that your college kid has a selection of towels and other bathroom items at their disposal. A laundry bag or hamper is a wonderful thing to add to the college dorm checklist bring items. It will make your teen’s life easier when they have a place for dirty laundry. On your kid’s college desk, there should be a bright light or full spectrum light that they can work by, there should be an assortment of unique writing utensils, papers, and a printer for last minute printing needs on their way to school.
When it comes to personal items, your teen should have a toiletry bag that can carry all their items. They should also have their own stock of toilet paper and tissues as well. For their personal items, they should have shower shoes, shampoo, soap or body wash, brushes for hair, body, and teeth, tooth paste and their other bathroom essentials that all fit easily into a toiletry bag they can carry with them back and forth between the bathroom and their room. The key with planning for your kid’s college dorm room is keeping everything portable and organized. It is better that they come equipped with simple items that are easy to carry and easy to replace until they have adjusted to dorm life. The college dorm checklist bring list should be simple and complete.

Thoughts and concerns about crime in the downtown St. Louis urban community…
Its amazing how much violence you see on the news these days. Its getting to be worse than actually violent movies sometimes. I know they’re just doing it to make people scared, but its working. I get nervous being outside my own house at night now. We’ve never had any kind of violent crime in my neighborhood, but I still can’t shake the feeling that we’re not safe anymore. I guess I need to do something about that because we can’t be living our lives in fear. I need to find a place where I can buy personal protection products St. Louis .
I’m not about to go out and get a gun or anything, but there are some far less lethal methods that are still capable of stopping someone from harming you. I’m not sure what exactly I want to get yet, but I figure I can go take a look and maybe get a professionals opinion on the matter. I suppose this is something I could talk to a cop about. I wonder how you go about getting advice from a cop. That’s not really something you call 911 for. I wouldn’t want to bother them at the police station either. They’re pretty busy as it is. I just need one of them to tell me what would be good to get and where I could buy personal protection products St. Louis.
Maybe I could just catch one on a break somewhere. I guess I could hang around donut shops for a while. I just need a good, reliable source of information about how I can buy something that will help me to protect myself should I end up in a dangerous situation.
I think it’s something that everyone should take the initiative to lean about at some point. I need something that I wouldn’t be afraid to use, and even my kids would be able to handle it. I don’t want them playing with it or anything, but if it came down to it I want them to be able to defend themselves too. Maybe I should sign everyone up for self defense classes. We could do that in addition to finding someplace to buy personal protection products St. Louis. That would be good for when we don’t have our personal protection gear with us for some reason. I imagine that would happen a lot when we are away from home. It would be nice to be able to defend myself with my bare hands too in case I drop whatever it is I’m to get or something. I thing that sounds like a good plan. I am going to do a little more research about all of this online.

We live in a world that is extremely unsafe. Every time you turn on the news all you hear about are acts of violence towards other individuals. More times than not the people who are on the receiving end of these acts of violence are women. I think that this is something that is of great concern to any individual who has a woman that they care about in their lives. It could be our mother, your sister, your wife or girlfriend or your niece. Anyone in your life that you care about.
I know that I personally did not fully understand the danger that exists for women in this world until after I got married. My wife drives to work by herself in the morning and she spends her time cleaning other individuals houses. She usually leaves right around seven in the morning and then her employer’s home by noon. Since I am a night worker I am home when she leaves and when she comes back. Well, last week my wife left at her usual time to go clean a new house. Right around 8:30 I heard the garage door open. It surprised me that my wife was home from work so early. I went out to see what was going on. I saw her in the car crying and the first thing I thought to myself is what happened, is she okay. I started to talk to her and when she finally was able to compose herself a little bit she told me that in the new house she was working at there was a homeowner and he tried to attack her but thankfully she was able to get away and run out of the house. Obviously my first thought was going to that house and breaking that man’s neck.
After we took care of the situation with the authorities, I made a determination I was going to make sure that first of all my wife no longer worked in a place where she had to be by herself and fearful about her personal safety, and secondly wherever she went she would have the means to defend herself. That day I started to look into security products women could use to defend themselves. I was here to find a product that would be perfect for my wife and allow her to defend herself without putting her own life in jeopardy. It is surprising the large amount of security products women have at their disposal. These are dangerous times and the security products women can get online include a variety of personal alarms, pepper sprays, stun guns and tasers.

Please be vigilant about personal safety and always lock vehicle doors after exiting. St. Louis thieves have been targeting child care center parking lots for women that leave purses in unlocked cars when dropping off their children in the morning. Criminals are looking for easy prey to victimize so using common sense and carrying personal protection such as MACE pepper gel will safeguard you if attacked.

Another innocent victim is shot and killed while driving her car through St. Louis City. Random shootings and senseless violence by gun toting thugs is a reality in St. Louis City and surrounding urban downtown communities. St. Louis will remain the most dangerous city in America and doesn’t appear that’ll change for the foreseeable future.
Residents that work, live and travel through St. Louis City must be vigilant about their personal safety. During these difficult economic times and rising gas prices, more and more of us are using public transportation such as MetroLink here in St. Louis to commute. Making the innocent hard working St. Louis citizen even more exposed and vulnerable to being victimized by the urban thugs terrorizing our community.

I discovered from a member at my gym that delivering mail and packages can be hazardous work. After learning that I sell self-defense products, he asked if Pepper Shot pepper spray is an effective self defense spray. I explained Pepper Shot Pepper Spray has been around for more than 10 years and has proven its effectiveness as a self-defense weapon.
The Pepper Shot Pepper Spray is a 10% pepper formulation made of extremely small grains. Considered to be much more efficient than other manufacturers made of coarser ones, it produces much more than 2 million Scoville Heat Units. Its primary ingredient is oleoresin capsicum, or OC, derived from cayenne peppers deemed as some of the hottest in the world.
This defense spray inflicts pain on the subject, inflaming the mucous membranes of its eyes, nose, throat and lungs, resulting in problems in breathing. Additionally, it swells the veins of its eyes causing them to close up and trigger temporary blindness. This non-lethal tool won’t trigger long term harm as its symptoms last merely for a brief time, enough for a person to get away.
In addition, the Pepper Shot Pepper Spray produces an extreme burning sensation in the skin that can last for 60 minutes since its OC content is an inflammatory agent. Defense sprays are said to be efficient even on drug addicts and psychotics who mighty be much more tolerant to pain.
All the models of the Pepper Shot brand have built-in security locking actuators. Its range of portable and useful keychain pepper sprays ensure a fast emergency response. The body-worn leather holster style, for example, offers easy accessibility and comes in a variety of colors.
I’ve found the Pepper Shot Pepper Spray visor model as the most appropriate for his delivery truck. Whether he’s in transit or parked in a dangerous location, this defense spray is easily accessible. It is available in stream and fogger variations. The 2 oz. canister includes a spraying capability of 10 to 12 one-second shots within an effecient span of 10 to 12 feet. The 4 oz. device sprays 22 one-second shots that take effect for a distance of 15 to 18 feet. He now feels confident that Pepper Shot Pepper Spray is an effective self defense spray.

The best stun gun has prevented many customers like the one below from being victimized…
Going home one late night from my job as a bartender, I was harassed by two street thugs who wanted my money and cell phone I just purchased the previous week. I saw an opportunity to escape an ran fast as I could to the safety of my car that was parked around the corner. As I drove home and calmed down from this bad experience, I thought about how defenseless I felt and needed to acquire non-lethal personal protection.
My brother, who was a police officer, told me that I should be protected from bad people especially that I am working nights. He was willing to lend me the best stun gun that he owned. Every time I left the restaurant since that night, I feel secure and protected with the Stun Master Hot Shot stun gun in my pocket.
The Stun Master Hot Shot stun gun which looks like a Blackberry is packed with 4.5 million volts from a short blast from this handy device would render anyone incapable of any activity for about five to ten minutes. With 4.5 million volts of non-lethal personal protection, it is the best stun gun to conceal.
I purchased my own stun gun since my brother would also need its protection on his days off. I knew that the best stun gun would effectively protect me along with the Wildfire pepper gel that I now also carry.
