Why Carry Pink Taser for Women

Sunday, May 1st, 2011

Police research reveal that a Taser, which sends 50,000 volts traveling through propelled wires attached to each unit, has a greater incapacitation rate than a 9mm gun.  Shooting out 2 darts linked to those wires, it can stop a threat up to 15 feet away, permitting a safe space between myself and my attacker.  Knowing these facts provide targeted victims confidence to fight back when attacked.

Also, Tasers combine stun gun technology with the new Electro-Muscular Disruption technology and that the pink Taser for women has an easy-aim design.  This non-lethal weapons could be utilized both for long-range and close-contact defense, providing women the tactical edge over assailants.

She was especially impressed with the Pink Taser for Women because of its effectiveness rate of nearly 100% as proven by more than 500,000 users globally, plus its Lifetime Replacement Guarantee.  Cartridges of the C2 series have unique serial numbers linked to an Anti-Felon Identification system, that will allow authorities to trace the proprietor and avoid potential misuse.

Now, my friend and I are both assured that her Pink Taser for Women would give her maximum protection whenever she gets into a precarious situation.  Able to impact the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system without causing long term harm, a pink taser for women would thwart any risk that comes her way instantly.

For instance, an Alton, IL man was charged with sexually abusing woman in Godfrey Schnuck’s parking lot this month. The woman was sexually assaulted while walking from the store to her car with groceries.

According to a police report, the victim said her attacker asked her for the time and she checked her cell phone.  After she gave him the time, the creep allegedly pulled his pants down and exposed himself to her. The woman walked to her car and was followed by the predator who continually inquired if she needed help carrying her groceries despite the woman telling him she did not need his help.

Once the woman reached her car and began loading groceries, the assailant is accused of dropping his pants and not only exposing himself to the victim but also rubbing himself against her.  The female victim also reported to the police,  this sexual predator then took her wallet from her hand which she immediately grabbed back from him.

When she grabbed her wallet back the assailant then fled the area on foot.  The victim reported the incident to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department that has since arrested 17-year old Latayuss J. Curry of 1400 State Street. He has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and attempted robbery.

Carrying a Pink Taser for Women will instantly stop any creep who dares to attack you or a loved one alone in a parking lot.

  • Even though you are rushing and thinking about a thousand things, stay alert to your surroundings and the people around you.  If possible, park your car in an area or high pedestrian activity.  Avoid remote areas.
  • Lock your care and close the windows, even if you are only gone for a few minutes.
  • Loose change is a meal for a street person; they will break your window for small change.
  • Your cell phone can  be sold and reprogrammed and is a sought item of theft.
  • A laptop computer will keep a drug user in a high state, at your expense.
  • Lock your packages out -of -sight in the trunk.  Place your valuables in the trunk before you get to your destination, not after, the thief may be watching.
  • Be sure and lock your car, many opportunists simply look for unlocked cars.
  • If waiting for a ride from a friend or public transportation, do so in busy, well-lit places.
  • Consider security film for automobile’s windows.
  • Always report a theft to the police.
  • Teach your children to go to the store clerk and ask for help if you become separated while shopping.  They should never go to the parking lot or the car alone.
  • Avoid carrying large amounts of cash.  Pay for purchases with a check or credit card when possible and notify issuers immediately if a credit/debit card is lost, stolen, or misused.
  • Be extra careful with purses and wallets.  They may become targets for crime in crowded shopping areas, at bus stops, and on public transportation.
  • Avoid overloading yourself with packages.  It is important to have clear visibility and freedom of motion to avoid mishaps.
  • At home, be extra cautious about locking doors and windows when you leave the house, even for a few minutes.  Leave lights and a radio or television on so the house looks occupied.  Do not put large displays of holiday gifts in view of your windows or doors.
  • If you go away for the holidays, try to keep your home appearing “living in”; Get an automatic timer for your lights.  Have a neighbor watch your home and pick-up your newspapers and mail.
  • If you use lights on your tree, make sure that they are in good working order.
  • Immediately mark your new gifts with your driver’s license number, and note all serial numbers, keeping records in a safe place.
  • Remember to be a good friend and neighbor this holiday season:  Share these tips with others in your familiy and neighborhood.  Also, why not get your neighborhood together and go caroling.  Do not forget the elderly and other people who might be especially lonely during the holidays.  Soon, you may wish to form a neighborhood watch group.  People helping people, that’s what it is all about!
  • Always be aware of your surroundings and young men loitering in parking lots or parking garages.
  • Women should always carry at least pepper spray as self defense against an attack or abduction.
  • And lastly, when hosting a party, find alternative transportation for intoxicated guests: and when going out drinking, please remember: D0n’t Drink and Drive.

Holiday Shopping Self Defense: What Is Holiday Shopping Self Defense?

    Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

I’m often asked what is Holiday Shopping Self Defense?  Well, Holiday Shopping Self Defense incompasses everything from being aware of your surroundings to employing self-defense weapons if attacked by an assailant.  The holiday season is a busy time of the year for everyone including criminals.  Remember, holiday shoppers are bouncing from  store to store often carrying large amounts of cash and carrying multiple packages.

The FBI crime reports confirm that criminals are more active and crimes such as burglaries, robberies, car jackings, car thefts and muggings increase during the month of December.  Holiday Shopping Self Defense means being vigilant about your personal safety during the holiday season.

These are dangerous times and criminals are looking for someone they can catch off guard.  As you already know, the day after Thanksgiving is the official start of the winter holiday shopping season.  The following Holiday Shopping self defense tips will minimize your chances of being targeted and victimized by a criminal.  Remember, Black Friday is on November 26, 2010 which officially launches the holiday shopping season.

Your safety and security while shopping and enjoying the holiday festivities should be high on your list of priorities.  Again, with the number of carjackings, robberies, personal assaults, burglaries and home invasions increasing at this time of year, it is imperative that you implement these Holiday Shopping Self Defense tips…

    1.  Be fully aware of your surroundings at all times and be totally alert as your walk to your car.   Take notice of anybody loitering around the parking lot or garage especially at night.

    2.  As you walk to your car, have your car keys ready in your hand and be prepared to use them as a weapon if assaulted or attacked.  It is strongly recommended that women carry a wildfire pepper spray keychain as a non-lethal form of self-defense.

    3.  If your car has a remote, only unlock the driver’s side door with your remote and wait until you are fairly close to the car before doing so.

    4.  Before getting into your car, check to make sure there is not someone hiding inside.  Many people have a dangerous habit of not locking their car doors.

    5.  Women, wear comfortable shoes rather than high heels when shopping.  If you are attacked in the parking lot or garage, comfortable shoes with no heels can help you escape.

    6.  Avoid parking near large vehicles or shrubbery, especially if shopping alone.  Also, be leery of vans with sliding doors parked next to the driver’s side of your car.  Above all, trust your intuition and return to the mall to request a security escort if you don’t feel safe or you feel that something looks suspicious.

    7.  Finally, don’t leave valuables such as iPod’s, wallets, laptops, purses, cash or packages in plain view inside your car. You are just inviting a thief to break into your car.

    Downtown St Louis Living

    Sunday, August 15th, 2010

Crime is real in most urban communities and St. Louis, MO has been plagued in recent months and the past school year with rapes on or near SLU and Washington University St Louis, MO campuses. Overnight car break-ins of vehicles parked on city streets of CWE, South City, Soulard and parking garages of the county have been a frequent occurrence all of which were reported by local news media so more detailed facts available online. Random shootings in downtown St Louis and surrounding neighborhoods of the city is a significant problem that’s out of control. When traveling throughout the city and shopping at retail stores, please use common sense and not leave packages or valuables visible in your vehicle. Downtown St Louis living requires residents to be vigilant about personal safety and always be aware of surroundings. Some residents of the renovated areas of downtown such as Washington Ave, Locust and Lafayette Park carry non-lethal self defense products such as the Taser C2 for added peace of mind against an attack.

WOMEN CAN GUARD AGAINST ATTACKS IN PARKING GARAGES OR PARKING LOTS: Taser C2 Pink with Laser Sight

    Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

St. Louis, MO women don’t be this victim: A woman shopping alone leaves a shopping mall via the elevator to the poorly lit parking garage. She’s running a few errands after work and she already has experienced a stressful day. As she walks to her SUV in the parking garage, she’s thinking about what to cook for dinner for her family. Suddenly, she realizes that it’s the wrong floor but remembers her SUV is at the end of the ramp on the next level. It’s the farthest from the elevators but first open stall she found in the parking garage. Having arrived to her parked SUV, she digs in her purse for keys and opens the rear driver side door to load packages she just purchased.
As she does, an attacker grabs her from behind and has her in a choke hold…she’ll be another sexual assault victim because she never made her personal safety a priority and carry at least a key chain Wildfire pepper spray for non-lethal self defense against an attacker.

Attacks on women in public parking garages and lots are on the rise in Saint Louis, MO and across the nation. But here’s how you can reduce the chances of being victimized…

Be aware of your surroundings and whenever possible, park as close as you can to the elevators or main entrance to the mall. Already have keys in hand and Taser C2 Pink with Laser Sight where you can quickly get it from purse.

As your walking to your car, be especially aware of the people around you and places a rapist might launch a surprise attack. Also, if a shady looking person walks by you…trust your instincts! Never turn your back to a potential threat or assailant. They’ll often double back and attack you violently and fast.

If you are ever physically assaulted with no personal protection available, and the attacker clearly wants the car, give it to him and run in the opposite direction. However, if the thug plans on hurting or abducting you, fight for your life. Absolutely under no circumstances do you get into any vehicle with him, his or yours.

Again, if  it appears that an attacker plans to rape or abduct you… FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE!  NEVER, NEVER, NEVER get into any car with him!

    Thieves Target Condominium Parking Garage

    Sunday, May 30th, 2010

Thieves target parking garage in Brentwood, MO condominium for the second time in three weeks. Vehicle passenger door locks were popped out to gain access to items stolen from cars parked overnight. This method of entry varies greatly from the “smash-n-grab” technique that downtown St.Louis, Mo residence have been experiencing in recent weeks. As usual, GPS units, ipods and other electronic devices were removed from cars. So far there have been no direct confrontations between the residence and thieves in the process of breaking into cars. But to be safe, suggest carrying Wildfire pepper spray on your key chain.

Car Clouting Outbreak In St. Louis

    Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

So, I bet your wondering what car clouting is? Didn’t know myself until I researched the term. It’s the same as “smash n grab” which is when thieves bust out a car window and take whatever they can quickly grab from inside your vehicle. Over the past weekend here in St. Louis, Mo there were more than 20 vehicles with broken windows and items stolen in the downtown areas of the city. It was reported most of the vehicles were parked on the street in the Soulard area of downtown. The best way to minimize becoming a car clouting victim is to remove or hide valuables such as; GPS devices, ipods, mp3 players, satellite receivers, money including change and laptops if you can believe people would leave something so obvious in the seat of a car. Oh, it’s very important that these objects are removed from site before parking car. If you wait until you park, anyone observing nearby can see what’s available in your car to steal and always  carry Wildfire pepper spray and be ready to use it.

Spring Is Here, Don’t Invite Yourself to Be Victimized!

    Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

Always be aware of surroundings when parking car and remove visible electronics such as; laptops, ipods, mp3 players and GPS devices. It may seem like common sense but I’m always amazed what I can see inside neighbors vehicles that are parked next to me on the street. Criminals are desperate for quick cash and leaving these type items visible is just asking to be a Smash-n-Grab for criminals. And students, please don’t walk the campus or near by park areas at night with your music blasting through the ear-buds of your Ipod or MP3. Your just asking to be mugged or worse. Finally, when living in an urban area. It’s always a good idea to carry non-lethal personal protection such as a Pretender 4.5 Million Volt cell phone stun gun or Taser.
