Most college students don’t even anticipate having a need for non-lethal self defense products like the Extreme College survival kit. They may believe if they own a canister of OC pepper spray, they are accepting the reality that someday the unthinkable will happen to them. Other naive students don’t even think about self defense ever, feel it will never be needed. This attitude is dangerous and difficult to understand.
We live in a dangerous world with rapes, robberies, sexual assaults, home intrusions, etc. If you are ever attacked, it is unlikely that anyone will come to your aid quick enough, if at all. The sad reality is that it will be up to YOU to fight off an attacker anyway you can. In my own urban community of St.Louis, MO. There have been brutal rapes, violent assaults and robberies on both Washington University and SLU campuses in the past month. Both wustl and slu students need to realize that criminals are more and more desperate and view university students as easy prey to target. Defending yourself against a thug who means you serious harm is something you better prepare for if you don’t want to be victimized.

It’s inexpensive, effective, legal and easy to use. Owning self defense products is like having car insurance. In a life threatening situation, it’s better to have pepper spray if needed. Than to need it and not have it. Most assaults take place suddenly and unexpectedly, and it can happen to anyone. Especially, an unprepared naive female college student. Wildfire pepper spray is an effective non-lethal personal protection product designed as a key chain or comes with holster clip for a belt. Carry this key chain pepper spray with you always, so that any attacker can be put down immediately; even if the thug is much bigger and more powerful than you.
If you never seen anyone get sprayed with Wildfire Pepper Spray, you’ll be amazed how quickly a large 250lb man will go down and stay down. The effects of a good blast from the dispenser are instantaneous and will incapacitate anyone for as long as 45 minutes, leaving no permanent damage and allowing you the time needed to escape and contact the police. Wildfire Pepper Spray contains an invisible UV Dye which is very helpful when making positive identification of the suspected attacker.

At the time of this writing there has been another attack on a wustl student in our urban community. She was sexually assaulted and robbed after being grabbed from behind around 1:00AM on Monday while walking in her neighborhood near the Washington University campus in St. Louis, Mo. The attacker used a knife as his weapon to control the victim , as he raped her between two buildings. From what’s been reported, the student survived the attack and was treated at a nearby hospital. But I can’t stop wondering if non-lethal personal protection products such as: Wildfire pepper spray, Pretender cell phone stun gun or Taser would have prevented this attack resulting in a totally different outcome. Allowing the victim time to escape and report the crime to law enforcement.

In our urban environment where public transportation is frequently used by all walks of life. Commuters have found themselves in very scary and stressful situations. They’ve had to defend themselves against some seedy characters. The Pretender 4.5 Million Volt cell phone stun gun is the optimum surprise close proximity self defense weapon and it’s non-lethal. It looks so much like a real cell phone that an attacker will never suspect you’ve got 4.5 million volts of serious hurt ready for him. The Pretender 4.5 Million Volt Cell Phone Stun Gun effects the nervous system by using high voltage to stop the attacker in his tracks. The attacker finds himself without energy and loses body functions because of the 3-5 second jolt. Resulting in the street thug collapsing to the ground laying in his own urine. Allowing you time to escape to safety and notify law enforcement. The attacker will fully recover from the jolt in approximately 45 minutes with no permanent damage.

If you live in an urban community such as St. Louis , MO. There are precautions you can take to reduce your risk of being attacked and becoming a victim. Spring’s near and many of us look forward to spending more time outdoors. Running, bicycling, roller-blading and just enjoying the fresh air as we exercise at near by parks. It’s important to be aware of your surroundings when parking car and remove or hide your purse, wallet, laptop, IPOD, GPS and any electronic devices from view before you arrive at the park. If there are thieves watching, anything you place in the trunk of your car will be visible to them. They’ll just wait till you leave and break in car to steal valuables while your gone. Also, if possible exercise with a friend or in a group . Your’re less likely to be targeted for sexual assault or rape by anyone observing looking for an easy victim. Always carry an effective self defense product such as Wildfire pepper spray.

Sadly, violent crime is a reality of living in an urban community. Usually law enforcement doesn’t get involved until after the crime and you’ve become another statistic. Students need to take responsibility for their own personal safety and protection. There are many inexpensive non-lethal personal protection products available for purchase online. Most are cheaper than a beer tab at the Delmar Loop in University City, Missouri. The Stun Master 950,000 volt Rechargeable lipstick stun gun is an effective inexpensive way to keep a college co-ed safe!
